I get more relief from my symptoms when I start fasting right before my period starts, so there’s more incentive to do it then. I stop at some point during, at which time a lot of the symptoms start up again, but there’s only so long I want to be fasting at all. I do find it harder to get the routine started again for several days just after my period, but once I do it goes more smoothly than during the rest of the cycle.
