How important is consistency?

For my job i rotate between day shift and night shift every week. Keeping a consistent fasting schedule through the transition is impossible. How detrimental is it to not fast 1 or 2 days a week? And my fasting schedule is pretty loose. Sometimes do 16, sometimes 20, sometimes 24, and other days 14 or even just 12. I understand consistency is key, but to what extent does the effectiveness decline with only fasting 5ish days a week compared to 7.

So I’m not super consistent, other than making sure I get 18hrs in. Sun-Thur, is pretty much the same (eat 12-6), Fri I don’t eat till 12, but no cutoff. But then I don’t eat Saturday till it’s been 18hrs. Same with Sunday, that’s tends to be Omad though or two quick meals cause I need to be done by 6 to get the 18hrs in till Monday lunch
