How lean can you go?

I am about 13-15% body fat but would like to get to 8-10%. I am 36 hours deep into a hard DF and was wondering if I can go for another 60 hours or so to reach my desired weight. Anyone have experience getting pretty lean with dry fasting? Particularly to single digit body fat

Answer

You will lose between 1 and 2 kilos per day.

Your weight loss rate will remain fairly consistent throughout the fast. Mine was very close to 3lbs per day every day, i.e. the loss rate doesn’t decline the longer you fast like it does when water fasting.

You will lose mostly fat on a dry fast, so depending upon your starting body fat percentage you can factor dropping percentage points the longer you go – at 13% to 15% body fat you should drop to 9% to 10% body fat in about a week to 10 days, representing 20 lbs to 30 lbs of total weight lost, of which \~ 8lbs will be rapidly regained in the first 24 hours of rehydration and eating as hydrophilic glycogen gets replenished in your lean muscle tissues.
