How long do you fast?

I did dry January and intermittent fasting for the month and felt incredible, more focused, better energy and a bonus of dropping a stone in weight! I didn’t bother doing it in Feb and I can tell! In January I fasted everyday (20:4) but this time round I’m thinking of fasting 5days out of the week, will this pattern still enable me to shift some weight? Does anyone else have a couple of regular free fasting days and still getting results?

Answer

It really depends on how those other two days go. If it’s 5 days of strictness and 2 days of debauchery, the two will eventually overpower the 5.

It’s also very hard to start back on the straight and narrow every Sunday night at 6pm.
