I don’t think of closing eating window as upgrading. It would suggest that the wider the eating window, the less it’s worth doing. I don’t look down on people on different routines, and I hope most people feel the same.I would suggest that if you want to close your eating window you will do it gradually. The between 16/8 and 20/4 is 18/6, and it seems it works for folks just fine. You can push further later on.I personally don’t cling to the numbers of regiment that much. I eat two meals a day and try to finish my second meal before 8 pm. Sometimes it is after 8 pm. My average fast time, the last I checked, was 20 hours, but it’s not unusual for me to eat after 1pm my first meal and second about 7pm. Longer fasts are helping to balance wider eating windows.
