Define exercise first off. I would recommend heavyhands for fat burning. Fb has a heavyhands group that will get you started.
I would recommend 2 or 3 fast days a week and a slight calorie surplus on the other days. It requires much less willpower to not be hungry everyday and go to bed full 4-5 days a week and you are much less likely to have your body slow it’s metabolism down because starvation. You want to be about 7k cal/week net loss if your break even point is 2500/day then that is 3 fast days and 4 eating days, much easier.
I do OMAD and have been losing, on average, 5 lbs a month. I don’t know your age, but I’m 56 so if you’re younger, you should be able to attain that goal pretty easily. As that dude said in Star Wars- stay on target!
I think you can do it especially if you’re tracking. I’m your height I weigh more than you though. And I’ve been doing 20:4 with some days off. And I don’t track calories. I’m losing around a pound a week. But since you’re tracking I think you can meet your goal. But I will admit I’m a pretty active person and on my on days I get super super hungry it’s way harder to fast. I take a rest week and that week fasting is super easy compared to the weeks I’m training.
Sound realistic. I would suggest that you exercise on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. It really makes a difference and I find that working out first thing gets it out of the way :)
I do a 16:8 and I personally believe in a Keto Diet with High Protein, High Fat and Low Carbs (Less than 30 grams per day)
That works for me and I don’t ever feel hungry at the end of the day. I eat several small meals spaced out during the day. (As I type this I am into the fasting part of my day and I don’t feel even close to hungry and it stays that way all night)
