How to forget about food?

Hi all, currently doing my first extended fast (almost heading into day 3 here) and I've found that I can't stop thinking about food... How can I just forget about it for the next couple of days?

I indulge in my fantasies and look for recipes to try later. The only time you’ll catch me watching cooking shows is when I’m fasting, somehow it’s suddenly really fascinating, but once the fast is over, all interest is lost and I have maybe two new recipes.

I have to stay out of the kitchen, away from the fridge and no grocery store. I try to keep busy with other things. I also drink a lot of peach flavored green tea with whole earth sweetener to keep my mouth busy. I want to try to do a three day fast but am scared I’ll get too weak.

truthfully you can’t it will happen once your body get used to it frankly nothing wrong about thinking about food, your mind will think lots of things during fasting

one trick is

mmmmh I could eat a frie/burger/veg/whatever right now think about it then ask yourself do I want to, give it a few minutes it will go away eventually it is totally normal specially if you eat 3 meals a day and/or graze on food
