Hi everyone, I'm a regular faster - I tend to do 72 and 90 or so hour fasts before breaking to refeed on the weekends. I'll refeed Omad. It works for me and I feel great, mostly. Trying to lose the baby weight.
But when I get back to fasting, the first two or three days are rough. To be expected. It's OK and I get through it cos it's mainly a mental game in my case but I do a have a hard time focusing and my productivity at work (desk job in front of a computer) takes a nose dive.
How can I keep this from happening? I don't eat strict keto when I refeed and I do eat some carbs in the way of fruit sometimes or rice. I don't have much to lose now. Could this be the reason? I'll try to eat keto next time I refeed but eating meat after fasting doesn't appeal to me....
Answer
I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure carbs are the reason. Some fruit and rice can be really carb dense. So you basically go through the hassle of entering ketosis every time. If you eat OMAD it’s not that difficult to make it keto. You can try it once and see what happens :)

It funny how our body can tell us it’s time for a change. You may want to start exploring different ways of paying the bills. I know I am a stress eater at times and it is usually due to something I should change. Keep listening to your gut!!!
