HRV and IF/TRF

Looking to share my experiences regarding HRV and TRF. It's not a general sense, but something I can measure. If you're not familiar with HRV, it's where the interval between heartbeats varies slightly. The variations are extremely small, adding or subtracting fractions of a second between beats. HRV ranges from 25 to 90 milliseconds (at least for me). A low heart rate variability usually indicates current or future health problems, while a high heart rate variability usually indicates less stress, more happiness, and a better sense of well-being. Before starting IF (16/8), my average HRV was 42-47 ms, but after starting IF, my HRV increased to 69-90 ms (roughly 50% increase). For me, it was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Notably , the BTB interval average is increased slightly and the average HR is decreased as well ( Both are the good sign) I'm curious if you experienced similar benefits from IF. [Last night HRV](https://preview.redd.it/u9cy6zqp0oaa1.jpg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef8ff2c5af174960c7dc8698317b8a4ef884c416)

Answer

I can’t comment on the actual question, but I have heart palpitations and I’ve been looking into how to measure them. I see you used a Polar application, is this a chest measuring device you’re using?

Could you please share what you used to measure this?

Thank you!
