I'm ending my fast this morning at 135 hours; I was aiming for 120 and anything over was a bonus!
I completed a 120 hour fast on July 29th and came off of it with Kettle & Fire chicken broth and a little later, some eggs. I ate carnivore and had close to no carbs until this fast that I started Aug 10th. I stayed in ketosis between fasts. I ended the July fast at 183.2 lbs. Aug 10th I weighed 183.6, so barely any weight gain. This morning my weight is 178.4! My glucose is 76 and ketones are 6.4.
And today I crossed the line from being obese to overweight!
I've posted before that I fast and eat carnivore to stop the pain from autoimmune disorders. It definitely works! I'm taking my carnivore a step further and am going to do BBBE for a month (beef, butter, bacon & eggs). Anyone else eat that way? I've been searching for all the different ways to make ground beef lol A ribeye each night would be great, but out of our budget.
A note for all the people that are trying to get started but struggling... If you start the fast already in ketosis, your struggle will be minimal. I use a ketomojo monitor, just find one that is reliable.

Good tips. It’s amazing how much we realize carbs mess with our body when we fast. Fats, proteins, and veggies are pretty much all we need and contain enough carbs that we don’t need to eat ‘cereals’ and ‘processed grains’. On a macro scale I think we just eat so many carbs because that is what is economically viable for large populations.
If I eat a giant bowl of pasta, it actually makes me fall asleep haha. Happy to see progress made - keep it up!

Awesome read. I’m glad the meat diet is helping your health. I will never spew the ignorant vegan nonsense again after what that diet did to my guts. Sad we need to eat animals but we didn’t ask to be born.
