14:10 here, and new to IF. Just checking in while staring at my clock. Hope everyone else’s journey is going well.

Try sipping either cold water or a mix of cold and carbonated mineral water (eg Topo Chico). Someone else on this sub suggested it. I couldn’t imagine that it would work—seemed too simple—but out of desperation I tried it, and yep, it works.

Hunger is mostly mental, not physical, check in with your belly when your brain is saying ā€œFood!ā€, most likely your stomach I’ll be like, ā€œnah, I’m good.ā€ Congratulations on starting the journey to a healthier you :)

Start moving around :) stay busy, be doing something. Cleaning around the house, or folding laundry or something. As long as you concentrate on an activity where youre moving around and stuff like that, passing the time will be a breeze. I like to drink water thats a little more than warm and almost hot to settle my stomach and it helps me out. Aside from all that hang in there!
