I’m glad you’re OK. I find this the hardest part about fasting. When I’m with friends and family it makes them feel weird when I don’t eat. Sometime the social pressure is too great and I’ll give in.
Fasting for 72 hours was the craziest thing I’ve done. I love eating and jumped straight into a 3-day fast for the first time but amazingly, as hard as the 2nd day was, once I pushed through it I learned if I channel the right place in my mind I have an immense amount of self control.
Right after the 3 day fast I jumped into OMAD Keto and have been doing great, something I wasn’t able to maintain on my first try last year. I think the 3 day fast, as extreme as it was in my scenario, gave me the discipline I needed to do OMAD. Some people might think the fast is harder so it’s better to start on IF and build up, but I found the fast to be easier than IF and OMAD. OMAD has been harder because you still get cravings and doing a 3 day fast was a good first move for me.
Heard this. Just came from my favorite Mexican restaurant and had a wonderful seltzer water and was like…. Worth it. My gut isn’t going to feel like garbage tonight and I’ll feel awesome about myself tomorrow.
