I started a water fast last Saturday. Didn't set an end date, was going to go until it didn't feel right. I've fasted over several decades, so knew what to expect,but was hoping to go 10+ days. I hadn't fasted in about 5 months, so was difficult starting. Don't really believe in dirty fasting, but I did this time lol I drank salted bone broth twice a day to try and curb the hunger. I usually have no issues with hunger. Today, I was at 91 hours and just couldn't take still feeling hungry so I broke the fast. Right before I stopped I checked my glucose, it was 61, my ketones were 4.6.
I'm disappointed I didn't go longer and that I cheated. I was pleased with the blood results tho.
I eat mostly carnivore when not fasting. Hubby isn't on the same WOE as me, so tries tempting me a lot with things he knows I like. That's frustrating, but he's an amazing person in many other ways, so I just try to ignore this. He definitely doesn't like when I fast. He's seen all the videos, knows it can be good for you.
I'm more of a lurker on here than a poster, so thanks to those that post your ups and downs with fasting and spouses lol It helps seeing your stories!

Water is the way and has worked marvelous results for me. My fat fat belly almost gone… keep exercising too… very important… it keeps you focused and out of distractions that can make you break your fast
