I am so sorry you are going through this! It is a rough diagnoses but sadly more and more commonly seen. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 13 years ago and have been dealing with it ever since. But don’t worry worry! While it’s debatable if you can “reverse” the condition…you can greatly improve the symptoms. I have found success with healthy keto (insulin is not your friend when you have PCOS, so keeping insulin down is a big step in improving symptoms), Doing IF especially fasting greater than 18 hours, supplements such as berberine, inositol, liver cleansing herbs. My form of PCOS didn’t change my cycle and Even though I had it, I was still able to have three children. But i got the other lovely weight gain, hair everywhere, bloating, and high insulin. PCOS can present itself differently. I have heard other women say their cycles return to normal with fasting and keto. Here are some helpful videos:
Just some to get you started but there is a lot more information out there now than 13 years ago. I fed felt lost and defeated when I was first diagnosed, so I understand! Don’t be discouraged and know you can greatly reduce symptoms. Hope this was helpful and let me know if you have any questions!
