I just f*cked up my 120 hours by finishing half the way at 67hours! Advice?

So monday and yesterday were all right. I had motivation, energy, a clear mind etc. But today was a disaster. Woke up feeling sick and quite dizzy despite sleeping 9 hours. I hoped I will be better after my morning walk as it often it happens to me to wake up like this and then I feel great after a walk. But not the case! Felt even worse. Then I went to uni hoping it will go away as I am socializing. It kinda did, like I still was feeling weak but at least didn't think about breaking my fast. Then the worst happened...was coming back home when I felt like dying...my headache was crazy, I hardly could walk, my stomach hurt. I thought maybe a no sugar gum would solve my issue(I knew the health benefits would be gone, but I could still lose weight at least), but nah...it got even worse so I bought some canned tuna and a mini apple pie(I ate around 400kcal). Now I would wish to go back to fasting as I am not hungry anymore to complete the other part of the fast-would it be worth it, both health wise and weight loss or should I quit it and try again next week? It is not my first time with a 5 days fast, but idk why sometimes I do it sometimes, but others I fail. I really don t get it why...The saddest thing was that I really wanted to lose around 3 kg in this fast(1,5 real weight and 1,5 water weight) but I am kinda lost as I don t think I will do it since I ate. Usually when I fully complet my 5 days fasts, I lost around 3-4 kg as I burn around 2000kcal(not the bmr, the maintanence kcal) a day(that is what my phone tells me) as I really walk a lot(around 30k steps). I live quite far away from uni, but I enjoy the walk so it usually is really pleasent for me.

Listen to your body! 30,000 steps per day for days on end with no food is a lot. Your body was clearly screaming for food. I really question whether it is too much and you are flirting with disorder.

In any case, your fast has ended. I would proceed back to my normal eating plan to recharge before diving back into a fast.

Have you been consuming small amounts of salt with your water throughout the day ? Because if not, I can pretty much guarantee you that a gram or two of salt with some water would have drastically lessened all your symptoms.

Congratulations though 67 hr is no small feat, treat this as a win ! Not a failure !

Next time, do some prep before your fast, 4 days before you start, modify your food intake, Eat a strictly clean keto diet 4 days before your start date so your body is fully fat adapted, then the day before you start the fast cut back the fat by at least 50% an focus on consuming lean meats only, lean steak, white fish, chicken breast etc etc, also the day before, weigh out and prebag/portion ~ 2 grams of salt for each day, 2.5 grams/ day if you weigh over 200lbs

Should go a lot smoother and be much less uncomfortable.

Again, congratulations!! This was a win for you, not a loss! 67hrs! Way to go!

Hmm, I see 10k steps listed as moderately active. Id imagine that might affect your calories burned.

Being in ketosis will help keep you energized while walking so much, but there is an adaption phase.

Personally. I would refeed. Eat a steak or something and then start again.

Of course, this won’t matter if you don’t have the appropriate fat reserves.
