I'm going to do it again

It's been over a year since I completed my 40 day fast. It took a few more months afterwards to hit my target weight. My weight is creeping up and I'm at a crossroads. Life is so much better, so do I just roll with it? Or do I say 'Enough' and get back to to zero? Where it all began. So on Monday, November 29th, I'll embark on my next longer fast. I'm so grateful that the weight gain was minimal this past year. But I don't want to be complacent. I start on Monday and the goal is 14 days. If I do what I'm supposed to do, getting back to 110lbs or under should be successful. Just throwing my thoughts out in the universe. It'll be hard. But rewarding. It always is. I'll dream about food sometimes, get moody sometimes, get bored a lot. But I did it before for 40 days. 14 is much kinder. This is my accountability post. I start on Monday, and I'll be setting my fasting timer. If all goes well, I'll be back on track.

Today is day 2 of fasting for me after a loose November doing whatever I wanted. I am fasting until the evening of December 4th (I am attending a dinner event that will force me to break my fast) but hope to start fasting again shortly after. I appreciate your dedication and also found it motivating.

If you (or anyone) wants to reach out while we fast, feel free! Accountability partners are great for me but regardless my dress for this upcoming event is too tight so I’m motivated to stay fasting. My previous record was 6 days…this will be 9. :)

Read your previous post and wanted to welcome you back! You were a great inspiration last year and I hope you get back to 109 soon! I too haven’t had a great year, but we can finish it out strong together!

Also, on the topic on maintaining, my plan has always been that I’m going to fast one day a week for the rest of my life, as long as I don’t go underweight of course, mostly likely every Monday. That should hopefully be effortless and bring some nice fasting benefits alongside the maintenance. Plus I never have to leave this sub, haha.

14 days to get under 110 Lbs?

I have a hard time imagining fasts beyond 5 days so I do it in increments. I think I may start another shorter fast on Monday as well. I thought those with less to lose had problems with longer fasts, not enough fat to lose?
