If you want as a lifestyle choice start with 16 fast/8 eat. And eat whatever, but be consistent with the time restriction. My brother likes Noon to 8, I like 9-5.
A lifestyle change is something that fits you. OMAD is not something I’d like to do for any extended period.
Maybe start by cutting out snacking, brush your teeth after your last meal (just eat regularly in the day, but nothing after supper ever).
Then learn to skip either breakfast or supper, and take weekends off if you need but still nothing after supper.
Your body will adjust. If it’s not enough to lose weight, don’t eat on Wednesdays. It’s harder physically but easier on the schedule and lifestyle side to cut out one day of eating.
