At Age 20, my height is 6'4" and my weight was around 370lbs. I was 2 years into recovering from brain damage resulting from a stroke, feeling depressed and very uncontent with what I looked and felt like, I just stopped eating out of dissapointment, the first 2 days, I had no desire to eat, and the smell of food would make me feel sick. In the 3rd and 4th day, I felt full of energy, probably because my body was burning through it's stored nutrients after my stomach shut down (from the fast) and I SAFELY excercised for about 3 hours, lifting weights and doing light cardio, and repeated the same excercise routine the next day, but felt weak after that, so I don't reccomend it. but on days 5-8 I felt weaker and everything was like a slow burn, I didn't have a desire to eat, but was also unable to sleep aswell. On the 9th day, it was the same, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep and I had to eat something to make my body stop feeling like it was shambly. My weight was 320lbs after the 9 days and felt amazing because I was able to keep the weight off, I am ready for another fast and am prepared for the experience ahead, I don't know how long it'll last, but I'm hoping that I may be able to go for a longer time, and DO recognize the dangers and precautions neccessary to take during the fast, and I know when to stop. I'm now 21 and have gotten better mentally, and am currently on day 1 of my new fast. don't know how to close off this massive block of text I just typed so I'll leave it here :p
Open to questions/concerns and reccomendations :))

If you’re ever feeling weak (not physically, I mean motivationally), try listening to podcasts or youtube videos about the benefits of fasting. I find them very educational and also encouraging. Remember that the first few days suck and then it gets way easier.
Don’t forget your electrolytes.

Nice work. I find that if I struggle to continue fasting the secret is to do something that sucks more than not eating does. Try taking a cold shower, I can guarantee you won’t be thinking about eating.

Whenever I fast, I just don’t exercise. It’s easier that way. If you research this, there are many people recommending not to exercise when fasting. Long walks are fine however. In this month I’ve done 10days fasting. 20days I just maintained my calories. In those 20 days I was lifting heavy weights and doing cardio.
I tried to do weight lifting / cardio on fasting, it doesn’t work. Maybe on day 1.

I went fourteen days fasting under the guidence a holistic Doctor. Long term fasting CAN KILL YOU! If you transition to solid food. You were lucky, had things gone wrong you would have died. I was advised to use a high B complex and vegetable laxative to let the liver, splean and pancreas could do there thing. The vegetable laxative kept my large and small intestines from weakening and I was able to transition to solid food immediately after. I was also told to use coffee enemas, but not to retaining the enema. Expell it immediately.
