I used to be 270 pounds I am currently 190. All due to fasting. my advice is. Stay away from food listen to motivational content numerous times through out the day David goggins and jocko is what I listen to amongst other . Drill into you’re mind why you wanna do this and that food will always be there it’s ok to fast. Also for me I listen to a lot of Native American war chants and Viking Drums and shit(weird I know ) but gets me pumped up to go on a fast . Also when urge to eat do push ups.
Set up a timer on you’re phone and stick to the timer I don’t know how long you want to fast I usually do 20-24 hours a day KEEP THE WARRIOR MIND SET don’t get down on you’re self I’f you fail this is a process !
I would highly recommend a 3 day water fast. You’ll need salt in your water (pink Himalayan) to prevent headaches and whatnot, but as far as cleaning out your system and losing 4-5 pounds of true fat (I lost 10 pounds my first one, but realistically maybe half of that was fat. I put back on 2ish pounds when it was all done) it’s hard to beat.
