My solution when similar situations arise was to go enjoy brunch and then have a lighter dinner a little earlier to get the next fast started sooner. I found this to be a better compromise that sacrificed the schedule a little but still kept the intent going, rather than just letting myself chaulk the whole day up.
Modify it fit your lifestyle. Shift the window down and skip dinner? Or do a 24 hour fast before brunch day so you are already ahead in your fasting. Don’t be too stringent and effect your personal relationships. Also don’t let your relationships complete break down your IF in the long term.
I would just call it an “up” day, which is actually important to do after a down day. Perhaps consider doing a modified ADF. The day before brunch have only a small 500 calories meal. Then 2 meals the next day to include brunch and dinner.
Good to mix it up.
Compromise and go at 1030-11 then calculate your fast accordingly? You could essentially still have two meals. I’m trying not to change necessarily everything I eat for the sake of my family, although I do make healthier choices but cutting out all the junk. Just a thought
