My partner is about start working shift work with a week of 13hr days, week off, week of 13hr nights, week off.
We've been doing 16:8-18:6 fasting during the week and then OMAD on the weekend. Does anyone have tips on how to integrate IF with shift work or strategies that work for you?

I’m not a shift worker, but I’ve seen 2 methods talked about here:
- Pick a window that will always work, regardless of your schedule. You’ll end up eating at the front or back of the window, but it won’t move. Sometimes it’ll be breakfast, and sometimes dinner.
- Make your windows relative to when you wake up or go to bed. If you’re normally up at 7 and eat 2-10, you could make your window be “8 hours, starting 7 hours after waking up,” which would be fundamentally the same.
