I’m in love!!

With OMAD way of eating. At first it was not working for me because I was trying to do dinner as most people do. But during work hours I was cranky and couldn’t concentrate well and it felt awful not going with my friends at work to get lunch. Then I decided to instead do OMAD for lunch and things just magically worked! I love being able to eat without guilt the same food everyone is eating. AND I don’t feel hungry at all in the afternoon. I sometimes drink some warm decaf tea before bed if I feel like it. Another thing that I love is I keep a note in my phone for a wishlist of what to eat. So if I see my husband eating nachos for dinner and they look great, I don’t feel bad at all. I get excited and write it in my wishlist (which I have ranked by what I want to eat next at the top). I often play with the list and move things around. If I’m WFH that day, I will often have 5 different things in my list! Like today I had a small Caesar’s salad, 1/2 slice of pepperoni pizza, one carne asada taco with pico de gallo, a cup or so of spaghetti and meatball and a tiny slice of brownie with like 2 spoonfuls of ice cream, some raspberry sauce and a few blueberries. Not my healthiest lunch, I know. But I had absolutely everything I craved, I felt STUFFED and just for fun I added the calories later and it turned out to be less than 1000 (I’m 5’2” so it’s fine). I have been eating like this for a little over 5 weeks and lost 15 lbs already (so I’m at 132 lbs). And I don’t feel like I’m dieting at all!! I’m so excited to see what I will feel and look like in January.

This is a brilliant life hack that everyone who diets should follow. It’s like a lottery or draft, but for food. Awesome.

Congrats on your success!

Lunch seems like a good time…but for many could become iffy if packing a lunch. I work from home and/or eat at like 5am if I’m heading on for work. I’m at the point where at worst…I get a bit hungry 12 to 14 hours later…which generally only notice with idol hands
