What do you mean by your body freaked out afterwards? What happened?
As for your question, not sure but if you do decided to go through with it keep your diet very clean. Little water intake and too much grease/foods causing gas (including fiber) can cause a build up of a lot of gas which is what happened to me. Personally I would rather just do a dry fast and outside of a dry fast drink as much liquid as I can.
I have tried it and found it difficult. I tried 22-2. hydrating during a 2 hour period.
What if you want to exercise but you are feeling weak and lacking some electrolytes to train?
What if your feel like you didn’t properly hydrate? You want to avoid chronic dehydration.
I think it’s possible if you keep trying, your body will learn to metabolize water more effectively. But I don’t think it’s worth it, at the end of the day it’s less than 24h dry fast, so you are not getting the huge benefits of a prolonged dry fast. So actually I don’t know how useful it is. Probably some use. I still like my electrolyte water, and dry fast every now and then.
