Intermittent dry fasting

I am so glad to have found this group. I do OMAD with dry fasting for 23 hrs and then eating and drinking in the1hr. I am a very obese female, 5'1 and weighing 108kg now. I started last week of September at 113kg. I mostly do dry intermittent fasting, but have on occasions drank water early because I was worried I wasn't drinking enough. I have decided to rigidly stick to dry fasting as drinking water early triggers hunger pangs and makes me break early for food. When I dry fast, I can easily break at 6pm and be satisfied. Drinking water earlier throws everything out of order and I sometimes find myself still hungry after 6pm. Strange!! I also do alternate eating which is eating solids one day and only having a meal replacement shake, the next day. It seems to be working, but I think I won't buy any more replacement powder and just stick to daily OMAD/dry fasting. It is meant to be a lifestyle and something I can live with. I workout 5-6 days. Mostly dancing and walking, but I have started weight training. This is the longest I have stuck to an eating plan for weight loss and I feel this is definitely the system for me.

I’d put some rehydration at least every week in order to put things in a safer way.

It will be a quite long journey: pay attention at your body signals and maintain yourself hydrated. Obviously when you are not DF. To me it’s better doing longer DF (48/72) and then drink a lot during the refeed, rehydration days.

Keep us posted on you journey!
