I started with a simple bodyweight routine every other day. I can go dig out the goofy little infographic, but I’d also recommend finding something over on r/bodyweightfitness if you want to go that route.
My advice, come up with some fitness goals you’d like to achieve and find training programs that works towards those. Maybe that’s a specific aesthetic, running a 5k, doing a pull-up, etc. The more our fitness can be its own thing with its own progression and goals the better the long-term sustainability and feedback into all aspects of health and weight loss.
Personally, I’ll talk anyone’s ear off about just weight lifting and walking. At least for me, that’s the best combination on many metrics.
I started with just walking to get myself used to working out again. Eventually I incorporated walking, jogging and running while also lifting weights once or twice a week. I played hockey growing up so now I’m just ice skating and not going to the gym
