Is it dangerous to smoke a cigarette while dry fasting?

Smoking helps relieve mental stress and helps get rid of eating temptations, but could smoking be dangerous while dry fasting? I should note I don't condone the use of cigarettes, but as a guy who smokes, I am curious as to what you guys think. Personally I'd like to continue smoking while dry fasting. If I'm going to quit smoking I'd rather do it while being able to eat.

>… could smoking be dangerous during dry fasting?

Smoking is dangerous during anything, it’s always dangerous.

I would encourage you to quit, .. I know what that sounds like, it sounds like when I used to smoke and people used to tell me it was dangerous and that I should quit, but there it is.

You can quit smoking. I didn’t think I could quit smoking … I was very addicted to it, 2 packs a day sometimes, and I just did not think it was possible. But it was possible, and it is possible for you too. After a few months being quit, it was like I never smoked, … I never wanted to smoke after that, and still don’t want to.

I don’t condone smoking, but honestly I think it’s more damaging for you when you’re NOT fasting as your body won’t be healing as fast on the reg the way it will during a fast.

Not saying it might not cause complications, it totally could, but if your already doing it I wouldn’t imagine it could cause any further damage than you’re already doing lol

How many people smoke until they die at 90? Too many, so I’m not going to villainize you for having a vice, mine is video games, wifi (dopamine essentially) and coffee.

If I had to fast without a single vice, it’d be a hell of a lot harder.

I’ll be really real with you, I think you should quit to save money lol

Smoke during this fast, then find out what vitamins smoking depletes (I’ll take a wild guess and say a lot of B vitamins, B12 specifically) and start mega dosing them as they are cheaper than the cancer sticks (just to let you know, Snickers, twix, butterfingers should be called cancer sticks too now that we know sugar is like miracle grow to cancer)And I know once you aren’t depleted it’ll be a hell of a lot easier to quit.

Good luck on your dry fast man!

Answer

I’d discourage it. Reason being, when you’re fasting to such an extreme, your body is going to be trying to absorb anything that it comes into contact with even more so than normal because it’s craving nutrients. That means you’re going to be giving it an extra bio-available dose of toxins while it’s in the midst of trying to rid your body of toxins. Plus, doesn’t smoking dry you out even further?

If you absolutely need a nicotine hit, perhaps try using the patch. But smoking seems like a bad idea.

Answer

I don’t recommend it but you can try if that’s what you want. Perhaps it will give you a headache and make you not feel well. A perfect opportunity to quit smoking and continue your DF goal. Once you are done you may not want to smoke again. This happen to me with coffee last year. It’s been a year and a half I last drank coffee. I don’t miss it at all.
