Is it true?

Is it true that fasting could help with some long-lasting illnesses and / or digestive issues? I have seen some things saying it could even potentially cure some long lasting inflammation problems, especially with a longer fast. The most I’ve water fasted for is 45ish hours. I don’t think that was enough to really kick the cells into gear. I’m sure I would have to be more consistent with them as well. If anyone has had a disease reduced significantly or resolved, please share. Thank you.

The simple fact that you give yourself a break from digestion will allow yourself to heal. Your body will start to eat up all of the excess sugar, which causes inflammation.

After your fast, you will need to be aware of the foods that got you there and avoid them.
