The weight loss comes from the reduction in calories, so if those two meals have less calories than you burn in a day. You will lose weight.
Got to do what works for you. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be effective.
Curious, how long did you try the no-breakfast schedule for? There’s going to be an adjustment period as you train your body not to expect the near-constant calorie stream some people have (meal, snack, snack, meal, snack, snack)
Personally, my eating window is from about 4 PM to 10, but everyone is different. And I’ve read that IF isn’t necessarily great for weight loss if people are still eating the same amount/type of calories. I do IF to trigger autophagy, which is why i go 18:6
Technically, you wouldn’t be fasting. That said, if your only goal is weight loss, it should work, assuming you’re not simply displacing your lunch calories to either breakfast or dinner.
I also agree with the person who said it takes a while for the body to adjust to a new feeding schedule. Your body expects food at a certain time in the morning, and if you skip that, then it will take some time for you to adjust and stop being hungry / hangry.
Drowsiness after lunch is usually due to eating too many carbs / sugar / heavy food. Skip the fries :)
