Yes, I much prefer having one large very satisfying meal over smaller ones. As an added bonus food also takes up less time of my day, less stuff to prep, plan and cook, fewer dishes to wash, don’t need to go get food if I forgot my lunch, etc.
Yeah, it works great for my job because I have a 14 hour shift limit and I can get a lot more work done during that time if I’m not stopping to seek out snacks. I’ve also found that OMAD has reset my appetite to some extent - I still crave junk food and have the urge to bored-eat when I’m not working, but I’m not physically able to pig out like I used to. Even my cheat days are pretty restrained.
This is me to a tee. Overeating is still a huge problem area for me and it’s really helping me keep it in check. I also like your idea of limiting the meal to a plate so I’ll give that a go too, thanks!
