Is smoked fish carcinogenic?

This guy thinks not: "Consumption of fish, *including smoked fish*, reduces the risk of colon cancer." Answer

Anything cooked with a sear or browning is technically more carcinogenic that it’s non counterpart. Ie charred Brussels sprouts in the oven. But the amount is minimal. Unless your eating pounds and pounds of long smoked meats, it’s negligible

However the nutrient benefits in this would outweigh possibility or a minimal amount of carcinogens. If it’s a true concern boil all your food or use a Poach/ sous vide method
