A bit about me: I have been eating a ketogenic diet for the past months and am stalled. My experience with water fasting so far has been a monthly 36 hour fast AND eating on an intermittent fasting schedule of 16/8.
I have no major health issues. I am considering doing a 5 day fast and am looking for the basics.

Motivations for fasting are to deal with some inflammation (not diagnosed as arthritis) and stiffness, get rid of some belly fat. I am fairly muscular and swim a mile or two a day, run 2 miles a day and do bodyweight PT 3x week.
