Hello People, I hope everyone is amazing.
I just wanted to share my experience with water fasting. It has been an emotional journey for me, but I am proud to say that I have successfully completed 3 weeks ([1](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/comments/zftw2q/doing_a_30_day_water_fasting_and_just_crossed_the/), [2](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/comments/zjpz71/yay_success_waterfasted_for_the_last_7_days_and/), [3](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/comments/zpmy6i/successfully_completed_14_days_16_more_to_go/)) of water fasting and only have one more week to go.
In the beginning, I was filled with doubts and fears. Would I be able to stick to this? Would I be able to handle the hunger and cravings? I wasn't sure if I was up for the challenge.
But as the days went on, I started to feel more and more determined. I was amazed at how my body was adapting and how my mind was becoming clearer and more focused. The physical and mental benefits have been tremendous.
As I near the end of my fast, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. I am so thankful for the opportunity to challenge myself and push my boundaries. I am looking forward to the long-term benefits that this experience will bring.
I wanted to share my story in case anyone else is considering water fasting and is feeling a little unsure. It can definitely be tough, but it is so worth it in the end.
Thanks for reading!
Stay safe.

Wow, that’s impressive. Are you doing any kind of blood work comparison? What was your main goal when you started and has that changed? How do you handle social events? Are the people in your life supportive?
I am on my first ever extended fast (only 5 days) and can only do it because I am not with my family at the moment-I have a child who struggles with eating and is underweight (and growth hormone deficient we just discovered) and his doctor has stressed that we all have to model healthy eating so no skipping dinner for me (I don’t eat breakfast but that’s not noticeable like dinner is). But I would love to be able to do 24-48 hour fasts on a semi-regular basis.
