We love you.
Try including cold showers in your daily regimen. It builds willpower.
Also a ketogenic diet will greatly aid your fasting.
There is no failure with fasting. There are just different kinds of lessons.
Was this your first fast? If so, just know that you didn’t fail. You’re learning. I broke my intended longer fast after two days with an orange and just hit the reset button in my head and started over right away. To me, four days is huge, especially if it’s your first fast. I think that you learn more about yourself and how to fast the more that you do it. I Love it!! Good Luck!!
I personally feel breaking the fast the wrong way is a huge health risk. From what I’ve researched the only water fasting death related case studies i found were connected to badly breaking the fast - because of the introduction of all macro nutrient groups simultaneously and in large quantities. So i established devotion to prepare for and break the water fast in the best way possible. Easing in with broth/juices then salads then eggs and finally maybe on third day with other food. This actually keeps me going during the fast, because i KNOW i can’t just cave in and eat what my psychological hunger desires, if i decide to stop the fast early i still have to ease back into food, there is no other option.Use this info on your next fasts. It’s ok to plan a fast for 7 days and stopping on 3, that’s perfectly fine. WF is healthy for you for whatever amount you do it. Breaking the fast the wrong way is not. Do more research and you will do great ;)
