Just complaining, feel free not to read.

Finishing my second week of 3/4 ADF man am I struggling today. I will be very surprised if I don't eat when I get home from work. I hear a lot that sometime after the third week it begins to get easier. ​ Not sure what's going on though because the day before yesterday was pretty ok around this time. Plus my last fasting period was mostly proteins. Which I thought was meant to help stay satiated for longer. I may have been about 800 calories under my BMR... Maybe that affected me... or perhaps I have had too much coffee today... Anyway mostly complaining because I am struggling here haha!

If you’re doing ADF, remember that your caloric deficit is built into the off day, so you should be eating at or close to maintenance on your eating day.

If that still doesn’t work and you feel like crap, then you might need to reconsider your fasting timing. Nothing wrong with changing things if they’re not meeting your needs.

I feel you. Struggled with that in week 3, too. As a previous poster said, everything changed when I stopped trying to achieve a calorie deficit on feasting days, too. Just eat at maintenance on these days. Really made a difference for me for my willpower on the following fasting day, and I am still loosing weight.
