Just finished a 12 day fast

I just finished my first extended fast a water fast- I had been aiming for 14 days but stopped at 12. While I did experience many benefits, I was kind of underwhelmed with my weight results which was 10lbs (which is probably realistic, but I got amped reading people’s stories). I started refeeding today- bone broth only (with Himalayan sea salt) and I started to feel... just fat for lack of a better word. My wedding ring became tight but that’s the only place I’m swollen. So I jumped on the scale just to see and I’m nearly back up to starting weight. Is this normal? What should I do next? I had planned on doing smaller fasts before attempting another extended fast in a few months- but all that work feels like it was for nothing. I’m discouraged and I’m new to this so I would love some thoughts.

Thanks, I’m glad I’m not the only one with crazy fluctuations. I didn’t take measurements, but my pants felt tight today when I put that on. I’ll be sure to do that moving forward. I’m introducing yogurt and sauerkraut today along with my bone broth and when I do have meals, they will be nutrient dense and nourishing. I’m planning on doing some shorter fasts for sure- it’s just weird… it feels like I didn’t just not eat for 12 days. It’s kind of making me think I should have just powered through, but my heartburn and fatigue was pretty brutal.
