I just had this idea, and I don't know how easy this is to do or if anybody does it already, but it makes sense to keep nutritious foods highly visible while keeping junk food invisible. For example, if you walk into the kitchen and the first thing you see us loaves of bread and bags of chips, you are more likely to make a sandwich with processed meats, and a side of potato chips. I know everyone buys junk food sometimes, but it makes sense to me that any such junk food is best kept out of sight, if possible. Anybody do this already?
Answer
Hey, I do this a lot. Thank you for posting. It has come as a sort of validation for me. I also make it a point to read health and wellness articles from reputed sites. This consistent practice has helped me to further bolster my desire to abstain from junk food.

I do this. I keep healthy food and snacks by my desk all the time (i.e. nuts, dried veggies, protein powder). Chocolate, carby snacks, etc. are all in a cubbard.
I almost never keep any sugary drinks, sweets or ice cream at home because it’s like playing with fire.
