Long term neurological issues

Hey guys. I have been suffering for a long time with a wrecked nervous system after discontinuing medication. This started in 2015 and things have only got worse over the years as ive tried various things to heal myself. Has anyone actually cured themselves by prolonged fasting? I have come across a couple of stories but when Ive dug deeper ive found they were still doing it tough a short while after...i don't need to lose any weight it is not for that purpose

Answer

I would advise niacin supplementation and intermittent dry fasting or water restriction (see ‘the dehydration treatment of epilepsy’ in the research thread).

Regarding diet, a high cholesterol diet might help.

Answer

I came off antidepressants and had horrible side effects for a long time. A 14 day water fast with nothing but water and salt cured the neuropathic symptoms. Dry fasting would also help however, neurological regeneration is as potent with water fasting and water fasting would facilitate the ability to take more and safer, light exercise throughout which would also be beneficial imo. I’d try 10-14 days water first, brief refeed for a few days then shoot for an extended dry fast and cement/polish your results. Obviously do so safely and be prepared for your symptoms to increase markedly in the fast before they improve/clear
