Looking and feeling younger

Do any of you Get compliments and Actually look and feel much younger than you are. Do you contribute this to any specific Vitamin or Supplement ?

Answer

I’m 43 and have been confused for a range of 27-37 and I attribute it to sleeping 8 hours most nights, exercising moderately 5-6 days per week, wearing sunscreen daily, being very flat chested. Yes I said being flat chested. I think it makes you look younger because most grown women have boobs.

Answer

Yes. People think I’m up to 10 years younger. My ex-wife also gets a lot of this. We attribute it to our diet, because we don’t exercise much. For more than 15 years we have been eating a natural diet based on ancestral traditions, all organic, non-refined, low on grains, high on animal fats and meat.

Answer

Omega 3s make a big difference in the quality of your hair/skin/brain functions but if you eat fish (and other sources) regularly you don’t need a supplement. Whole nutrition is better than isolated specifics

Answer

I agree with so many shared responses!I’m 50. I have a couple of spectacular sons who are young men now and “doin their thing.”Often, and much to my sons’ discomfort, I am asked if I am their sister? “His friend?” To which either son cringes in dread. For me, self care comes ahead of work performance. I spend routine hours engaging in real exercise. I am conscious of the nutritional value of the foods I eat and I am my own shopper and chef of course. Lastly, but definitely not least, I hold tight boundaries on the energy or issues people bring to me for support or offloading. If it’s not good for me,…this struggle is.dead on arrival. If the situation is the real work belonging.to another person, I will stay engaged to kindly pass the drama back and hold space as a support but not do that fixer gig. Long story longer, (apology) :self care with dedicated routine+ conscious boundaries for what is your work AND what is NOT your work will allow space in life for abundance. Didja hear it? Abundance!! We can talk about skin care, exercise and lifestyle. Those are really ancillary. But in our culture, when we see someone looking so youthful yet carrying themselves in such a mature way, we know that person has cracked the code and found what works. I’m telling you, I never I’m intended to see a change in my appearance. That was just not the goal. However, that’s what I have now.

Answer

People always assume I’m much younger than I am. I attribute it to good sleep, sunscreen, hydration, lots of antioxidant-rich fruits and veggies, and genetics. I don’t take supplements but I do eat a micronutrient-dense plant-based diet

Answer

Largely genetics, but general healthy eating (eat a balanced diet with lots of vegetables and fruits, limit sweets and red meats, drink mostly water or plain herbal teas), regular exercise, sunscreen everyday (and hats, sunglasses and other protective sun gear when out in bright sunlight), don’t smoke, sleep enough, and try to keep your stress levels down (this is probably the hardest thing since things that cause stress are often either outside of your control or take a lot of work to get under control, but you can work on managing stress in any case). Limit caffeine. I really think caffeine causes people a lot more anxiety and problems than they realize- I’d go for under 200 mg a day (this is the limit recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, and I think it’s a good starting point). Finally, twice a day brush your teeth for a full 2 minutes each day, floss, and use mouthwash and don’t miss your 6 month dental check-ups. Oral health can affect your whole body, and nothing makes you look older than losing all your teeth.

And if you’re going to develop wrinkles anyway, try to make them laugh lines. :D

But there’s no secret supplement or vitamin to look younger. It’s a whole lifestyle.

Answer

Yes, people say I look younger than I am. Don’t look for “miracle” supplements or vitamins. From my perspective, healthy diet, positive attitude, physical fitness and social interaction are the best we can do. Genes are out of our control. My experience with unregulated supplements and vitamins physically damaged my organs due to toxins or interactions. These included common things like turmeric, CO-Q-10, krill oil, niacin, resveratrol, polyphenols and more that are supposed to help you.

Answer

Don’t drink- the stuff takes 10 days to leave your system and during that time your liver can’t absorb nutrients or expel toxins.

Wear sunblock, wash you face, eat when you’re hungry, sleep when your tired, rely only what you naturally want to do. Whole new person! Happiness makes you pretty.
