I've lost 68 pounds in the last 7ish months and while that is amazing and I honestly celebrate this journey every day, I've been noticing that I am developing some loose skin in my boobs and this morning, maybe it was just the way I was laying in bed, but 😠they looked so wrinkly and loose and flat and it has bothered me all day. I feel like I've gained so much confidence in the way I look and my boobs have always been what I consider to be my best physical feature. I'm just really bummed today
I still have at least 30 more pounds to lose and while the loose skin isn't going to stop me from reaching my goal weight. I'm just now going to be paranoid about it getting worse. I spent my whole lunch break looking up breast lifts and planning how to budget so I can save up for one. I'm not against surgery anyway, but I obviously would have rather avoided it.
I have been derma-rolling and really paying attention to my stomach skin and loose skin hasn't become an issue there but I didn't think about my boobs. The skin there is obviously more delicate, but I'm going to try derma-rolling on my breasts and using hyaluronic acid, collagen, vitamin c, and some other serums to try and help a little bit. I'm also going to incorporate more chest strengthening exercises and anything else I can think of.
It seems like surgery is the consensus, but has anyone had any luck (even the tiniest improvement) with any other interventions?

I’ve found swimming to be good exercise for helping my boobs gain a tiny bit of volume and firmness after weightloss. Unfortunately it’s not a huge change, but it’s noticeable, and makes me feel more confident and strong, too.

When I was consistent with chest exercises and yoga, my boobs looked great. Unfortunately gravity is gravity. The skin stretches in a downward direction and while they will shrink with weight loss, loose skin is bound to happen with such a fatty part of the body.
Keep at it with the dermarolling. I think you’ll see some results with that. Here are some things that may help and wouldn’t hurt to try: exfoliating with a pumice stone (soft side), forming breast lotion, gua sha, dry brushing or any sort of lymphatic drainage method, chest exercises/getting fit in general, practicing good posture, yoga/Pilates, collagen powder, and a nutritious pro metabolic diet.
But also loose skin on boobs is really normal. Most women including myself don’t love our boobs. Focus on being proud of how much weight you’ve lost and let your body catch up to you! I think when you lose the last 30lbs in conjunction with these methods and exercise, your boobs will improve.
