Lost and added!

I am new here, but have been silently reading and following everyone's post. So thanks everyone for your contribution and encouragement on this platform. I started a 20:4 (which turned to OMAD) on Jan 12th weighing 177. My eating window is 6pm to 10pm. In the first 5 days i lost 8lbs. I was down to 169. All of a sudden i am back to 176 today 😣😣. This is my second week, and i thought i would have lost more! I must confess that my food portions increased (but not drastically) because i was trying to ensure i get my protein, vitamins and "necessary" nourishment. Also, there are some days i go straight to bed after eating because i am exhausted from work and feel tired when i get back. Any idea what i am doing wrong and need to change?

Try eating further from bedtime

If you are only weighing weekly…be aware of water retention. Sodium or carbs can retain a lot of water and cause swings. It’s not hard for me to add a few temporary pounds
