Hi all, I started IF 3 days ago and so far have been able to hit the 16:8 without much trouble, just some tiredness. My question (which is probably silly) is more about what to eat not when. I am trying to stay lowing on the carbs but my issue is finding variety of things to eat. This is compounded by having 3 teenagers in the house who basically eat what they want, making it hard to make dinner choices. I am a total beginner and want to make this work, but feel like I need a plan. Any advice would be much appreciated, it’s my birthday on Saturday and I want to be in a better place for my 50th in 2023. Thanks.

My advice to folks is always to check out sheet pan meals. Just a great and easy way to cook a lean protein and some non-starchy veggies. Just pair that with a complex carb and make sure there’s some good fat being used as well and you’re basically hitting everything a balanced meal of non-processed foods you’d want.
