Modified or Failure

So i have gone past 36 hours of a hard dry fast. I want to do 48 hours but even clocking off at 36 hours is fine, in the sense that I’ve never done this before. Anyways, I took 5g of Shilajit in resin form at the 36 hour mark. Has this ruined my dry fast for the next 12 hours? Im not really fussed either way as I was planning to do another 48 next week. In between 12 hours from now and my next 48 hour round, I will do 20 hour OMAD dry fasts. Yeah I have beef with the fat I’m holding at the moment 😤.

Well done on this! While eating anything, no matter the quantity, turns the fast into a diet, this is the right start. Filonov recommends 2 days dry fasting a week with 10km walks specifically for weight loss. The biggest benefit of the dry fast is control of hunger: people may offer you food in social gatherings or be shoving junk food down their throats but to not let that influence you in a source of eternal joy… I think in weight loss this should be the goal: to get rid of poor dietary habits and addiction to refined carbs. Wish you well!
