Filonov recommends 2 days dry fasting a week with 10km walks specifically for weight loss. The biggest benefit of the dry fast is control of hunger: people may offer you food in social gatherings or be shoving junk food down their throats but to not let that influence you in a source of eternal joy… I think in weight loss this should be the goal: to get rid of poor dietary habits and addiction to refined carbs.
