My ‘cravings’ have definitely been altered during the fasting process.
I am looking forward to seeing how I feel 7 and 14 days post fast and seeing whether I have ‘broken’ my previous eating pattern and behaviours.
Quite the exact opposite has happened to me. I did a seven-day fast a few weeks ago. The first three days were regular hunger pangs, but those went away. Then around day five or so, I started craving food. Not hunger, just craving and missing the process of eating.
I started another fast this past Sunday with no time limit set. Just taking it day by day. The same thing happened, around day 5, Friday night. I was just massively craving food and caved in with some protein cookies.
I’m honestly not sure if I’m doing something wrong. I take sodium, magnesium, and potassium daily. Strictly water, no coffee, tea, etc…
