Start off by setting small goals: leaping into a two-week fast from regular eating is very difficult, and it’s easy to get disheartened if you don’t meet that goal. Try two days and then a refeed; then four days and a refeed; then six… and so on.
Be sure you’re getting electrolytes in, or you’re liable to feel miserable. Stay adequately hydrated and, if you can, busy: the distraction helps keep you from ‘boredom hunger.’
Good luck to you!
Just keep trying. The thing that surprises me about fasting is every fast is a little different. Some fasts are easy and some are difficult. If you end your fast earlier than you planned…just start again! It’s not a problem. Keeping busy (like Henry_otherwise suggested) will help immensely, too.
My first one was 72 hours. I was already a fat adapted ninja by that time after 1+ month of carnie eating. Day 2 was a bitch. Everything made me cranky. Keeping somewhat isolated during this and my brain as busy as it would let me keep it was key. Day 3 was not nearly as bad.

I just finished a 48hr one, my second - about 3 days after that first one. Omg, so much easier. I have no idea why. I had the cravings to eat my office chair, as usual, but it was much more of a background noise.
