So a few years (2017-2019) ago I did IF and hit a healthy weight for the first time since highschool. I spent about 6 months doing a 20/4 to 20/5 fast every day, I ran a couple of miles every day and I usually worked out. I lost almost 40lbs doing that and I kept the weight off for the next few years until Covid hit.
Then my workout buddies couldn't meet up, the gyms closed, my grandmother died and my work schedule changed and I gained back all the weight. Now I'm looking to get back into, the problem I'm having is that my schedule is different. I went from working a day shift to a afternoon/late evening shift 5 days a week. My eating habits have changed with it, dinner for me used to be at about 6 pm and now its closer to 12 am.
The combination of IF and Work have led to some pretty major social problems, because all my friends eat at the usual times and I can't resist when they offer me food. I also really need a support network, my co-workers and family feel like I'm perfectly healthy despite being 40lb overweight, and so continue to encourage me to eat.
I'm hitting the gym, but I can't spend hours every day working out to lose the weight its got to be a combination of gym and fasting. I don't know what else to do, I'm getting really frustrated though by lack of progress and willpower.

I’d say take a break for now just like what I did a week ago(but still follow your macros and not overshoot it) was in a similar position such as you so I took a week break and probably would like it longer it depends on your goals and what not.
After that you can re assess your situation and start again from the beginning. The motivation is there consistency is what keeps you going.
