Need some motivation/tips/encouragement

I have been doing 23/1 fasts a few days a week, for a couple of weeks now. Yesterday I decided I want to try a longer fast , minimum 48h but maybe even longer if I can. I’m 20h in now. I am a little scared about the hunger and cravings… I need some positive words I can read when I’m having a difficult time, or some tips. I am used to drinking cola light every now and then during my fast. It helps a lot for me, but I’ve been reading about it and know it’s not the smartest thing to do. I will try to drink only water and tea this time. Do you drink light sodas during fasting?

I gave this advice to someone else on the forum in a similar situation last week, but when I feel like I need a bit of motivation I just watch some YouTube video’s about the benefits of fasting. Always seems to “spur me on” to keep going. Hope that helps!!

not soda but if i feel really bad i’ll drink a 0 cal gatorade but that’s like if i’m 2 days in (dirty fasting), anyways, i believe you definitely have to willpower to finish since you’re even here trying to stay motivated. you’ve already accomplished a lot so make sure to listen to your body.
