Then go and focus on doing something else. Sitting around and thinking about the fast doesnt help with anything. Read a book, watch a tv show, do a hobby project. Anything really
Eat your last meal and do preparations by 6pm the night before. By the time you wake up, you’ll be 12+ hours into it already. 1 day should be a piece of cake. Maybe lower your goal until you can temper your will power a bit more.
Wanting to lose weight is fine, but feeling like shit about yourself isn’t going to do you any favors. You also shouldn’t be after the fastest possible results. Instant gratification is part of the reason you are where you are, and discipline is about learning to say no and not getting everything you want right away.

Just do it, if your family tries to feed you daily and you know they’re not supportive then you can tell them you ate earlier. I’m a big fan of going to special occasions though and taking part but special occasions aren’t usually daily or even regularly so if your family want you to eat regularly 3 meals a day type thing then you can tell them that you ate earlier or I’m not hungry, something like that. I’m not for fibbing but it’s either that or them bugging you constantly
