Slow and steady wins every time! I allow myself a special treat on Sundays, whatever I’m craving. One of my favorites to make is a pumpkin, banana bake, the banana replaces the egg in recipe (because the price of eggs is crazy). My dogs love the pumpkin too. :)
Good luck! I would say 16:8 is the best to begin with. If you have dinner early 6/7pm and you can manage to not eat until next day around the same time should be easy after a few weeks. You can always have a day a week of rest or adjust depending on your plans. I feel like black coffee, water and green tea help to manage hunger. Also try to keep yourself busy and don’t keep snacks around. If you have a clear goal and motivate yourself, I’m sure you’ll succeed.
It’s hard at first but definitely worth it! Even if you stop at some point, don’t give up.
