New to IF

Hi, I’m a 19 year old 5’8 female. I’m currently a freshman in college. My current measurements are hip:41, breast:35, and and waist 28. My goal measurements are hip 38, breast 34, and waist 26-27. (I never use the scale because it doesn’t really show progress for me, so I feel that measurements work better.) I’m looking to try IF as a college student (while lowering my carb intake), especially since the holiday season is on us. But how do I reduce hunger, and how do I get used to it? What is the best time for beginners. How do you do IF as college students?

Protein and fat are satiating. Some carbs can be too, but tbh it seems only because they are “filling” (i.e. literally taking up too much space). Up your fat and protein until sated. You don’t eat when you’re not hungry.
