Newer to fasting. Have a question

New to intermediate fasting. Coming up on my 2nd week. Doing 20/4 starting weight 283 I’m 6’1 1/2 and male. Goal is to lose 80lbs. My question is how much/what do you guys eat during your eating period. I know everyone’s calorie intake is different, but is there a number of calories you try to hit? I eat healthy when I’m eating just not sure how much to eat

I would use a website to calculate your tdee and then subtract about 500 calories from it. This should help you to lose about 1 pound per week which is great. If you try to limit your calories by too much it can make you miserable and often leads to giving up.

i aim for right around 1900cal/day though I know today I definitely went over on that, but it was still good quality food that I overdid it on, so I’m not sweating. Plus I had a good workout as well, which will help.
